Is the milk good or bad for the dog? In which cases, give him and in what forms?
Milk, the only food essential to the puppy under two months
In dogs, as in all mammals, milk is the first food he receives in his life. It is even indispensable for feeding a puppy and ensuring optimal growth until wanted with the surrounding of its 6 to 8 weeks.
Until weaning, the puppy must therefore be nourished by breast milk or, failing that, formulating milk for a puppy whose formulation specifically meets its nutritional needs and digestive capabilities.
Note that cow’s milk, goat, sheep or even human breast milk are not adapted to the needs of the little dog because all this milk are not nutritious enough for him.

Can we give milk to an adult dog?
In the adult dog, the activity of the enzyme (lactase), which makes it possible to digest the sugar present in the milk (the lactose), decreases or even disappears completely. As a result, most adult dogs become somehow “lactose intolerants”. Understand that they are no longer able to correctly digest the milk and that this food causes them diarrhoea, bloating and gases. This is the case for all milk, which all contain lactose, whether either the species of origin.
For these reasons, it is therefore strongly discouraged to give milk to an adult dog.
Can my dog be allergic to milk?
Milk is a food that contains proteins and is therefore likely to cause allergies in dogs in the same way as other foods. In dogs, milk allergy usually causes diarrhoea, vomiting and/or itching or cutaneous redness. This allergy is, however, quite rare in the dog.
Is the milk anti-poisonous for the dog?
You may have already heard that milk had to be given to a dog that would have ingested a toxic substance to limit the signs of intoxication. This belief is totally false or even dangerous for the health of your pet. Milk can accelerate the passage of the toxic in the body of the animal.
If your dog swallowed a toxic substance, the best thing is to do nothing to eat or drink without the opinion of your veterinarian or veterinary poison centre, which are to contact immediately if necessary.
Can the milk be useful to the dog in case of constipation?
NO, If the milk has the effect of provoking diarrhoea in the adult dog, it should not be given in the idea of counterbalanced a constipation problem.

And the legal?
If the adult dog does not digest the milk well, it generally tolerates very well laidges such as yoghurts or cheese. In these dairy products, the lactose (the sugar that the dog has trouble digestively) has been degraded during fermentation by lactic ferments so that it remains only in the state of traces.
